1. How long have you been performing as a porn star and how did you begin your career in the adult industry?

MISHA:  I’ve been performing seriously for a little over a year now. I began my career in adult when I started as an adult/fetish model. I’ve always wanted to be in porn, but it took me many years to actually pull the trigger and dive in.

2. Please share with us a little bit about your heritage and ethnicity and where you grew up?

MISHA:  I’m American, but I have Russian ancestry and that’s played up quite a bit in some of my projects for AltErotic. I grew up in Reno, Nevada.

3. I love your stage name, Misha Montana. How did you choose it?

MISHA:  Thank you! Misha is my actual name and Montana came from a prank I played years ago. I changed my Facebook relationship status to be “married” to the rapper French Montana, and it changed my last name to Montana. After that, the transformation into Misha Montana began.

4. What is your favorite aspect of the adult industry and being a porn star and if you could change anything in the industry what would it be?

MISHA:  My favorite thing about adult is the empowerment. We are idols in a bizarre way. It gives you a platform to have an incredible voice, as well as giving you once in a lifetime opportunity that few, if anyone would ever have access to ordinarily. I’m an outspoken advocate and proponent of humanizing the industry, and I’d like to see more compassion and adequate treatment of sex workers.

5. You recently launched your official website with PUBA. Congratulations! That’s really cool and the content you are putting out is awesome. Please share with us what this means to you and a glimpse into your experience creating all the content to prepare for launch.

MISHA:  Thank you. I’m extremely honored, humbled, and excited. I wanted my own website my entire career, so this was such a huge accomplishment for me. It’s still surreal to be on a network that also houses the greatest porn stars of all time. I have poured myself into all the projects and content I’ve shot over the last nine months or so. I bring a high-level production quality to my content. It’s very different than the amateur shot scenes I see on a lot of other sites. I have something for everyone on there. I’m going to be bringing exclusives too that can’t be seen anywhere else.

6. You aren’t just a super-hot porn star but you’re also the director of AltErotic! Please share with us some insight and your feelings about your experience directing for AltErotic.

MISHA:  Thank you! I’m very proud of that title and I’m the only female director in AltErotic’s history. I think it’s so important that women in this industry are given more representation in a context that they control. Directing gives me the ability to express myself creatively, honestly, and unrestrained. It also gives me the creative freedom to work with talent that otherwise may have been overlooked. I don’t like to boast, but as Production Manager and Chief Brand Officer, most of the talent that was booked in the last year was because I had suggested them. It makes me feel proud to know that my ideas and choices are not only heard, but also appreciated. Directing GlamGonz was the highlight of my life and career, and I have so many more projects coming in 2022.

7. On a more serious note, in Spring 2021 you suffered from a stroke. Your determination, positive attitude and where you are today is truly inspiring. What obstacles have you faced in returning to the adult industry and has this event changed your outlook on life?

MISHA:  I’m always happy to hear positive feedback from others about my stroke. From the moment I had full awareness of what was happening and the severity of it, I immediately told myself that I was going to use it for something good. I didn’t know what that meant at the time (and I still don’t necessarily), but I have made it my mission to make an example of myself for others that may feel unworthy, frightened, intimidated, alone, or defeated because of an illness or any other inhibitor. I want to give people a voice and use my platform to provide an example, as well as draw positive attention to the industry, to stroke survivors in general, and to create new narratives. My life is forever changed by this. I consider it a blessing in many ways, but the undeniable damage and difficulties is sometimes overwhelming. Physically, I have a harder time than I once did, and my severe memory loss complicates my professional and personal life. But I manage to work through it, and view it as a challenge, rather than defeat. My multi-award nominated, adult showcase “InkedXXXploitation of Misha Montana” is now being recut into a mainstream documentary, so I really hope that has success and an impact. That’s the single most important project to me this year and probably a definitive moment in my entire career.

8. Are there any stroke awareness words or wisdom as such a strong survivor and icon that you can share with our readers on how to recognize a stroke or what people should know after a loved one has suffered from a stroke? Thank you for sharing.

MISHA:  I knew nothing about strokes, before I had one myself. I had never personally known anyone that suffered from one, and my only knowledge of them was the basic understanding that they were serious and mostly affected older people. After having that frightening experience, I think it’s absolutely critical that people understand the warning signs and symptoms to look for if they or someone else is having a stroke. I didn’t understand how important it was to get to the hospital early, and I was fortunate my 10-hour delay didn’t have more serious consequences. Obvious confusion, slurred speech, and facial drooping are all very key signs of a stroke. Time is of the essence to get to a hospital as soon as possible. One in four people will experience a stroke in their lifetime, and often victims are not as fortunate as I was.

I think the most important thing I could tell people living with someone who is a stroke survivor is to be patient. People forget I had a stroke, because I physically recovered so much. But, it’s really frustrating because I’m broken on the inside. I deal with severe memory loss, confusion, depression, and anxiety daily. I enjoy speaking with other survivors, because they are the only ones that really understand what it’s like to be held captive by a stroke. That’s also why I want everyone to understand how difficult it is for me to continue working and speaking out and sharing my experiences. I’m not making an example of myself lightly; it takes everything I have. I want everyone to know and to see that there is life after a tragic event like this. There is strength inside of you that you don’t even realize and don’t ever let anyone or anything stop you from achieving your dreams. Don’t allow negativity to steal your happiness or hold you captive. You can do absolutely anything you put your mind to and always be gentle with yourself and others; you never know what someone is going through.

9. You’ve been hosting a podcast and YouTube vlog 2 Russians 1 America along with your partner and adult director Ivan. Please share with us more about this popular venture and what fans can expect when they tune in.

MISHA:  I love hosting the podcast with Ivan and getting to do all the fun, bizarre adventures we embark on. He’ my best friend and we feed off each other’s quirkiness. We have unique perspectives on our topics of discussion. He has over 20 years of experience and amazing stories from the industry. And I want to bring my knowledge and passion for causes outside of the industry. So, it’s a (mostly) harmonious balance. Plus, we’re both Russian, so it gets spicy from time to time. It’s fun, enlightening, insightful, and just downright shocking.

10. Tell us the origin story of your Xeno Kitty brand and how it came to be and where fans can pick up your merchandise!

MISHA:  Xeno Kitty came from my alien pussy tattoo. I wanted to create a G-rated brand with a hidden meaning. I love the logo and the merch I have so far. I’m currently working on bringing some really crazy designs to the merch line. Ivan and I are hoping to launch a large-scale merch line this year with various brands under our label. MISHA:  Thank you! I absolutely love the alien pussy tattoo, and it was the most brilliant thing I’ve done for myself and my brand. It also just adds a level to my performances visually that’s unlike any other performer. I have over 30 tattoos. I always try to count but I miss a lot. I honestly have an attachment to all of them for different reasons. MISHA:  I’m actually constantly working and creating. My timecard never gets stamped out. This is so much more than work to me; it’s my passion. I enjoy creating and I eat, sleep, and breathe my brand. In the limited amount of time that I have and I’m not working, I really love movies and wrestling, so going to a show and getting some sushi is my favorite thing.

13. Let’s talk sex! What are your biggest turn ons and what kills the mood for you?

MISHA:  My biggest turn ons are humor, candor, and kindness. From a physical perspective, I really can’t deny how much I love a big fat cock, but personality is far more important to me. I think it’s definitely possible to fake it, and as a good performer you need to be able to do so. But there’s no denying the magnetism of authentic chemistry; some things you can’t fake. My personal life is very bland compared to what I shoot on camera, but I think that’s normal and healthy. I’ve only had sex with one person this whole year off camera. It’s difficult because there’s always this expectation to be the “performer” in the bedroom or to be a sex machine 24/7. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a nympho by all standards, but I also want to cuddle and watch a movie. There’s no shortage of sex in porn, just real intimacy.

1. How long have you been performing as a pornstar and how did you begin your career in the adult industry?

ALINA ALI: I started out in the industry just by going out and meeting the right people. I believe it was meant for me. I’ve been in about a year and a half.

ALINA ALI: I LOVE TO COOK! Now, I don’t eat meat too much anymore, but I love to cook me red beans, gumbo, vegan charbroiled oysters, white beans hit the soul, and you can never go wrong with some catfish or etouffee! Those are all my favorite meals.

4. While we are on the subject of Louisiana, do you have any crazy Mardi Gras stories that you can share with us?

ALINA ALI: Baby, I been to way too many Mardi Gras to be able to tell y’all my one favorite story.

5. You’ve only been performing on screen for just over a year and you have skyrocketed in popularity and status. What advice can you give to new models for their first year to be successful in this industry?

VIOLET MYERS:  Since 2018, so about 4 years now.

1. How long have you been performing in the adult industry and how did you begin your career as a pornstar?

LIV REVAMPED:  I did my very first porn scene September 3, 2011. It’s the day before my birthday. So as soon as I turn 30 this year, it’ll mark officially an entire decade as a performer. I got into porn through a friend of mine who was recruiting girls.

2. Please share with us a little bit about your heritage, ethnicity and where you grew up?

LIV REVAMPED:  I’m multiracial. I’m Native American (Yaqui), Mexican, Greek, German, Filipina, English and Black. I was born in California but raised in Oregon.

3. What are your favorite and least favorite parts about being a pornstar and working in the adult industry?

LIV REVAMPED:  The best thing about being in adult films is that I can control my career and my time; no one tells me what to do and I can make time for the things and people that mean the most to me. The downside to being a performer is the constant stigma that we as sex workers must put up with. But I’m strong and I only surround myself with people who support me and my craft.

4. Do fans ever recognize you on the street or out in public? If they do, is it cool with you for them to come up to and respectfully say hello and introduce themselves?

LIV REVAMPED:  If they do, they rarely admit to it. Sometimes I get the stares, and sometimes people will contact me later asking me if I’m wearing “X” and was seen at “Y.” I’d love for more fans to actually say hi to me, as long as they’re being respectful.

5. When you’re not busy on set filming the hottest new porn what do you like to do and what keeps you busy?

6. You’re in great shape Liv! What’s your fitness routine? Do you prefer to hit the gym or go for a hike or another form of exercise such as sports?

LIV REVAMPED:  To be honest, I haven’t been to the gym in a couple years due to COVID. Instead, I take frequent walks when doing my errands or hanging out with my dogs. I do morning and evening yoga to feel refreshed. I’ll swim laps in my pool during the summer. And I go on a lot of hikes during autumn and winter. When I was younger, I was involved in a lot of sports and athletics, but these days not so much. I just try to eat correctly and take myself outside when I can.

7. Speaking of sports… We saw a sneak peek of you as the new Lola Bunny for the Sparks Entertainment cosplay parody for Space Jam! That’s truly awesome! Please tell us a little bit about this epic upcoming parody!

LIV REVAMPED:  Unfortunately, I’m not allowed to say too much since the director likes to surprise his audience, but I can say that it’s going to be really naughty, erotic and fun! And it just got released this week so go watch it.

8. In your opinion what do you think about the desexualization of Lola Bunny in the new mainstream film Space Jam? Was it the right move to remove the objectification or do you feel that this takes away from Lola’s iconic smoldering character?

LIV REVAMPED:  Considering she’s a family cartoon character, I think desexualizing Lola Bunny was a brave and smart move by the creators. That way families could actually enjoy her as a character, instead of being picked apart by non-approving or horny adults.

LIV REVAMPED:  I’m an absolute foodie. I love almost anything and everything. Mexican food, Japanese food, seafood, steak, and Italian food…I could go on forever. I cook at home, but I’m not chef. I might prepare a quick healthy meal, but it’s nothing like what I can get at a nice restaurant.

11. We hear you’re a gamer! What video games are you into? What’s your platform preference and is there somewhere gamers can find you? E.G. Twitch or your gaming handle?

LIV REVAMPED:  I used to be a heavy competitive player on Destiny and Destiny 2. Growing up, I played a lot of Halo and FPS, when times were simpler, and it used to just be pure fun. However, a lot of games and the way they’re created can be overly complicated or just greedy. I had to stop playing Destiny 2 because now every time they release a “season”, you must purchase it separately like a DLC. And you don’t get anything in return. No new weapons, hardly any new maps (and no good ones), and they keep making desirable items even harder to obtain. I quit after a 10-hour raid that my friends and I weren’t even able to complete. So, now I play Sims 4, when I have time to kill.

12. You were planning to attend Hard Summer this year. Did you go and enjoy it? Are you planning on going to any more festivals this year fans might catch you at?

LIV REVAMPED:  I went to Hard Summer Day 2. Although it was nice, I do feel as though I’ve been to better festivals. I definitely plan on going to EDC 2021. And I’m trying to go to Nocturnal Wonderland in September.

13. Liv, you are well known as a purveyor of 420. What’s your flavor preference and do you have any smoking rituals?

LIV REVAMPED:  I don’t know if I have a particular strain or flavor preference. It changes with my tolerance. I prefer Hybrids or Indicas, but lately I’ve been splurging on Sativas. I have a weed pen for travel purposes, but I prefer bongs. They’re cleaner hits (in my opinion), smoother, and get your higher quicker with less weed.

14. What are your biggest turn-ons and what kills the mood for you?

TRU KAIT:  I have been a content creator and adult performer for two years now.

TRU KAIT:  I’m Hispanic and was raised in a somewhat religious household. I was born in Long Beach California, and moved to Texas around eight, so I grew up there for most of my adolescent years. So, I moved to Los Angeles on my own at 19 to pursue that goal and I did. From a very early age, I was always very adventurous, independent, and ambitious.

3. Although you are LA based, we hear that you are currently living in Prague with your lover, Czech fashion model Tomas Skoloudik who goes by the adult entertainment alias Tommy Woods. How are you enjoying life in Europe? What do you like to do when you are not busy filming porn?

TRU KAIT:  Yes. Tomas and I are currently living in Europe, and we’re having an amazing time! We’ve met so many incredible people and performers here and have established some really great friendships. Aside from going to the gym daily, when we’re not working, we’re usually are meeting up with friends, walking around the Prague (there’s some really neat and beautiful spots and parks to enjoy the breathtaking views), going to a local pub for a beer, and recently we watched the Euro Cup everyday with friends.

4. We have noticed all the amazing new content you are shooting while in Europe. How are you enjoying working in Europe and connecting with all of the world class pornstars there?

TRU KAIT:  I enjoy it so much! There is so much diversity of people here. We’ve had performers come in from Spain, Italy, and Hungry (just to name a few) to shoot with us! So, it feels really special, and I have so much appreciation that fellow performers appreciate the work we do and like to work with us.

5. You’re a proud Vegan and we love that. What does being Vegan mean to you?

TRU KAIT:  Being Vegan is a small gesture that I can do to give back to the animals and planet. Food made with animals, is death and fear on a plate, and I rather keep that energy out of my body.

6.  What are your favorite Vegan dishes? Do you enjoy cooking?

TRU KAIT:  Any dish can be Vegan. I’d have to say, currently I love any kind of Thai Food.

7.  You are a former body-builder competitor and a certified professional trainer. What is your current workout regime and favorite exercises?

TRU KAIT:  I warm up with cardio, then do abs, followed by weightlifting. My favorite exercises are dumbbell deadlifts, single leg glute bridges, and kettle bell sumo squats. I guess you get the idea on my favorite body part to work out.

8.  What is important to you in a lover?

TRU KAIT:  Intelligence, wittiness, compassion, optimism, and drive.

1. How long have you been performing in the adult industry and how did you begin your career?

BRENNA SPARKS:  I started stripping when I was eighteen years old, and started filming porn about two years ago.

Please explain to our readers what cryptocurrencies means to you and how/why you got involved in the crypto market in the first place.

BRENNA SPARKS:  I’ve been into cryptocurrencies for a long time, almost since the beginning. However, it was extremely speculative back then, and I wasn’t totally convinced of it. Around 2016, I got heavily into it and began to see it’s true potential as a technology that spans across many industries as well as a new class of investments for the new generations.

4. What is your future vision for the adult industry and the cryptocurrency market. Ideally, how would you see them evolve together?

BRENNA SPARKS:  I would like to see the adult industry incorporating the technology that underlies cryptocurrencies, and also to use blockchain to streamline its current setup to open more revenue and make porn more profitable. Advertising is a huge area in porn and is also one of the areas that blockchain will make the biggest impact on. With more and more performers and directors going the independent route, advertising will play a key role for the current and next porn generation.

5. You’re currently dubbed the cutest advisor on the Blockchain for Spankchain. Please explain to our readers [who don’t already know] what is a Blockchain and what Spankchain is all about.

BRENNA SPARKS:  Blockchain is the NEW internet. It has attributes that are not possible with the current internet that we have grown so accustomed to. One of those attributes are decentralized digital currencies a.k.a. Cryptocurrencies. Privacy, decentralization, and voluntary collectivism play central roles. Getting into Blockchain now is like getting into the internet in 1990. The possibilities are endless. I view Blockchain as the most important technology of the century and cryptocurrencies are the future of money.

6. What crypto advice or tips can you offer your fans. What cryptocurrency would you recommend investing in?

BRENNA SPARKS:  I don’t recommend any in particular. I’m constantly bouncing in and out of various investments. One day I could recommend one coin and then a month later I may be out of it, so no point. Also, the decision heavily depends on how much money one is putting in, there is no universal answer to give. My suggestion is they get educated in the subject, if they are looking to invest into something. Like any investment, that means sitting down and spending hours studying. When the time comes, you will have to make a decision on if you are ready to take the plunge or not. There is no easy way to do it. You’re either a risk taker or you’re not, doesn’t matter how much you studied or what I or anyone else tells you. It’ll always boil down to you and what I find is that there are many people out there that, despite being totally convinced, are just too attached to their money and can’t get themselves into a risky situation. My motto is this: Normal actions lead to normal results.

7. Now we’ve covered your crypto niche that intrigues the world, let’s go back to the blazing fact of why you are so appealing to everyone in the first place… You’re incredibly sexy! BRENNA SPARKS:  League of Legends, where I mainly jungle and occasionally play support. I also like trying out all kinds of indie games, especially horror games. Right now, I am slowly playing the remake of Resident Evil 2 and starting up Apex Legends.

14. Do you share your gaming handle and play with fans or is it top secret? On that note, do you stream video games?

BRENNA SPARKS:  It’s top secret. No, I don’t stream. I have thought about streaming though.

1. How long have you been involved in the adult industry and how did you begin your career?

MARICA HASE:  I got into the industry in 2009. so I’ve been working as a porn star for 10 years.  I’ve also been working as a mainstream model since when I was 18 years old. Some of the photos that I took as a mainstream model for TV and magazines were naked, but not adult in nature. I love acting, so wanted to get more acting gigs. Then, I auditioned to become a contract star at a point that I was actually not interested in sex.  So if you add up my adult and mainstream, it’s about 20 years.

2. We all adore your style and the fact that you are born in Tokyo, Japan. What was it like growing up for you in the Kantō region?

MARICA HASE:  Japan, especially Tokyo is completely different than it is here in California. It’s more like New York. I would say it’s more busy. Tokyo is the biggest city in Japan. I really enjoyed growing up there. I went to private school, took a lot of classes like swimming, piano, and art. I had lots of activities to keep me busy and I didn’t watch much TV.

3. Please tell us how and what made you decide to make the transition from being a Japanese Gravure model to crossing over seas to become America’s Sweetheart and everyone’s #1 Japanese porn star!?

MARICA HASE:  I love this question. It makes me happy that you asked—thank you! I never thought about becoming a porn star in the US, so I didn’t study English or American culture or porn. I figured it would be too difficult to move to the US and how different it was from Japan. Plus, learning English wouldn’t be easy.

While I was still in Japan, a director spoke to me after a big shoot. He since it was two years since he shot me the first time. He didn’t think I’d do well as a porn performer, but he was very impressed with my performance. He told me I was perfect and that I should become an international porn star. I thought he was joking and said, “Oh that sounds fun”. Then, I contacts a couple of American porn companies and now I’m here!

4. Please tell us a little bit about the way the cultures in the AV Idol industry in Japan and the American pornography industry differentiate. In your opinion what is the best part of both cultures?

MARICA HASE:  We have so many differences and porn is a completely different job in both countries.

In the US, the porn stars are the boss-they decide what agency to go with and which shoots to accept. There are so many options for us to choose from here. An American porn star can create a great career by themselves. People can become whatever they want, as long as they’re not lazy, they can do well.

In Japan, agencies and contract studios are the bosses. They hire us. Once you belong to an agency, they decide what jobs you will take, as well your career as a porn star, your personality, etc. At my first meeting with a contract company, I had to answer questions a certain way while they interviewed me. They wanted me to be a very shy, innocent girl and say I’d only had two ex-boyfriends before I became a porn star. To be a porn star in Japan, you have to be chosen by an agency first. It’s very hard, but once they take you, you’re protected and can focus just on being a performer.

5. Please tell us about the most popular and bizarre sex fetishes in Japan that are not as prominent or known in North America?

MARICA HASE:  There are tons of fetishes, but they generally make us cover up pussies and dicks by pixelating them. They have to find another way to be erotic without showing pussy or dick.  One thing I loved to shoot in Japan was being molested in a crowded train or bus. I was also a big cum slut—on one shoot, I drank 100 guys cum at the same time.

6. What parts of Japanese sex culture or culture in general do you wish North America would incorporate more into the Western way of being?

MARICA HASE:  I didn’t know how big deal it was when I became a Penthouse Pet. There’s no Penthouse Magazine in Japan and my English skills weren’t really great at the time. I really couldn’t understand why people kept to saying congratulations to me.  Now, I know it’s a big deal. I’m so appreciative that they picked me as the only true Japanese Penthouse Pet from Japan. Other Japanese girls were Japanese/American and not born in Japan, like me. I’m so proud of myself. I learned a lot from everyone at Penthouse—they taught me to be a strong and sweet lady and they’re my family now.

11. My heart hurt and I was shocked to hear that you were diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Like many others, I have family members who have gone through this. We were all so happy you created a Go Fund Me for a place to show support and love during this tough time. Your fans and the adult community have come together to let you know that you are not alone and show you that we really are a family in our own rights. How are you feeling for the upcoming surgery?

MARICA HASE:  Of course, I’m scared and feel like I’m getting a little bit weak. But, I just want to be win, which means enjoying my life, even if I have cancer.

13. I truly wish you the best Marica and we are all looking forward to a healthy & happy recovery for you and your re-entry back into performing in the adult industry! How are your feelings about your first scene back?

MARICA HASE:  I think I’ll keep creating content about cancer for my YouTube channel. Also, I’ll answer question if any if my fans ask me about my cancer. I think my experiences can help others. 1. How long have you been performing in the adult industry and what made you decide to become a pornstar?

DELLA DANE:  I’ve been a performer for just over a year. I had already done a lot of other things with my life and career. The opportunity presented itself at a time in my life when I felt I was in a transition. It felt right so I went for it!

2. We know you have a few degrees under your belt! Please tell us about your career and educational training prior to being a pornstar.

DELLA DANE:  I did my undergraduate degree in English and I worked in publishing for a short amount of time, as well as medical device marketing. I then decided to go back to school to become a sex therapist. I got my Master’s degree in Couples and Family Therapy. I was really passionate and still am about sex positivity and empowering people to live their happiest, most fulfilling sexual lives. Ultimately, I realized that my work as a therapist wasn’t the avenue for me to express myself anymore, and I found myself in porn.

3. Please share with us your heritage and a little bit about what your life was like growing up?

DELLA DANE:  I grew up in a suburb of Portland, OR, and was raised in a very conservative environment. My parents actually both come from pretty liberal backgrounds, but they chose to follow a church-based, conservative path to raise their kids. This included being homeschooled, sheltering us from any mainstream music/movies/TV, and forbidding us from dating or being involved in any kind of sexually charged environment. Needless to say, this background led to me questioning and exploring a lot once I became a young adult and able to choose my own path in life.

4. Congratulations on your recent win for the award for Miss Congeniality at the NightMoves Awards Show! How did it feel to win your first trophy?

DELLA DANE:  Thank you! It was pretty amazing, I have to say. I’m grateful for any nominations I get along the way, but it’s really thrilling to get to accept an award on stage in front of your peers. I get a rush every time I look at it!

5. Let’s talk sex! What are the biggest turn-ons for you and what kills the mood?

DELLA DANE:  Some of my biggest turn-ons are confidence, honesty, and sensuality. If something doesn’t work, it’s knowledge, not a failure. Be honest, and always engage with compassion and empathy. Remember, most of the time your partner’s reactions to you aren’t about you at all. There are many layers to our relationship patterns and understanding one another takes time.

1. How long have you been performing in the adult entertainment industry and how did you begin your career in porn?

As Vice President, I help with all of the operations; from aiding individual performers to planning community events. As well as, lobbying government officials to organizing free workshops for our members.

6. Please tell us about the Peer To Peer program you have recently established and launched with APAC this Summer and what the PTP program offers to models. How can models get involved and where can they sign up to be a part of the PTP program?

RILEY REYES:  PTP helps pair new performers in need of guidance with experienced performer mentors. We hope it will help them be better educated and more connected with the larger adult film community. Models can apply to be a mentor or a mentee at https://www.apac-usa.com/peer-to-peer-mentoring.

7. Asides from being the VP of APAC, you clearly identity as an activist and also as a queer and are openly polyamorous. Please explain and briefly share with our readers your values on these subjects, what they mean to you and how they shape who you are.

RILEY REYES:  I’ve never fit neatly into the boxes made for me. I love who I love, whether it be men or women, or someone who doesn’t fit in that binary, and I can share that love with multiple people. I think it’s important to question the roles we are given, and to truly find what speaks to you. I’m living the life that fits me, and I want to empower others to do the same for themselves.

8. What is your favorite part about being a porn star?

9. What do you think needs to change in this industry and why?

Why Paying for Your Porn Is Important

Imagine going to work, working hard all week, expecting a paycheck, and Friday comes around and there’s no check for you. You’ve just been informed that you worked the last week for free. That’s what it’s like for performers when you don’t pay for your porn. No one wants to work for free.

We spend a lot of money on our sites paying the cameraman, editor, and other performers. Plus, I personally invest a ton of time in doing scenes for my website and DVD line American Honey. When you don’t join my site and get my scenes for free on a tube site, my income goes down. When you get my DVD for free, sales go down and that effects everyone at my distribution company and me.

I’m not sure if you noticed, but less and less DVDs and scenes are coming out from the major studios. They don’t want to invest time and money into scenes and entire DVDs that get pirated so people can watch it for free. It’s just like going grocery shopping. If you don’t spend money at Safeway/Vons, they will close. Many people will lose their jobs and you won’t have a local store to shop at. If things continue like this, there will be no more porn.

It might seem like a faceless crime, but it is a problem for everyone in the industry from agents to performers to publicists to directors to salespeople and beyond. It’s cutting into our livelihood and becomes a bigger problem each year. We’re working harder and making less and less. In most jobs, you get a raise each year. That’s not always the case in the adult industry.

Also, when you email us and hit us up on social media, don’t tell us you saw our last scene or DVD for free. We want to hear that you paid for that scene or DVD. We need your support and we truly love our fans who pay for their porn. If you buy any of my DVDs and bring them to any tradeshow I’m at, I will not only sign it for free, but I will also take a selfie with you for free. I reward my fans who pay for their porn.
