1. How long have you been performing as a porn star and how did you begin your career in the adult industry?

AVERY JANE:  Before porn, I worked in the adult industry in adult retail as a manager at Hustler Hollywood on Sunset Blvd. While still working at Hustler, I released my first pornographic content scene on November 19th, 2019. Eventually, I quit my job at the store to pursue content creation full-time, and eventually began a career in the mainstream porn industry in the summer of 2021. I’m not sure when the technical switch from me performing as a content creator vs me performing as a porn star happened, or when a porn performer is deemed a “star” but after several international tours, numerous award nominations and winning a Female Performer of the Year award from Urban X, I would like to think I am now a porn star!

2. Please share with us a little bit about your heritage and where you grew up?

AVERY JANE:  Originally, I’m from Louisiana. I grew up very Southern and very religious. My familial roots are Creole, but I lived immersed in Cajun culture, so I got the best of both worlds. Lots of great food, great music, hospitality, and culture!

3. Let’s talk about your first industry award you brought home this year by winning the prestigious Female Performer of the Year Award at the 2023 Urban X Awards! Congratulations, after being nominated for numerous awards before, you really deserved this more than anyone, so we were genuinely happy to see you win! What does winning this award symbolize and mean to you?

AVERY JANE:  Firstly, thank you so much! I honestly was not expecting to win any awards for at least a few years, if ever. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of performers who are truly amazing and stand out to me. I try not to focus on the awards too much or stress over them, but to know that I won a fan-voted FPOTY award from an awards show as iconic as The Urban X Awards during my first 4 years of porn feels pretty damn extraordinary!!

4. You’ve been busy the past couple of years working hard from creating your content to collaborations, to shooting with all the major mainstream companies, including visiting Europe to do all these things as well! What keeps you grounded and focused to stay solid and have such a strong work ethic, while having fun through the chaos?

AVERY JANE:  Spending time with animals, smoking a lot of weed, spending time with non-industry friends and family, and prayer/meditation really help ground me. Making sure I carve out time for myself, off the internet, to do nonwork-related activities is crucial!

5. On the topic of collaborations and content, this week you dropped a new special anal collab with Violet Myers that everyone is talking about! Tell us all the juicy details about shooting this new internet-breaking scene!

AVERY JANE:  I was honored and grateful that Violet chose to do her 1st anal content collab with me. It brings me pure joy to know that she trusted me enough for that experience! She’s so beautiful, inside and out, so I was super excited to work with her! The scene is one of the sexiest girl-girl collab scenes I’ve ever made, from our chemistry to our performance to the mood lighting to the anal! Truly a must-see!

6. Tracking back to your stellar work ethic that we mentioned earlier, you have become a role model, especially for new BIPOC models and performers entering the adult industry. What advice do you have for these models that look up to you for being successful in the porn business?

AVERY JANE:  Prioritize your mental and physical health. Respect your own boundaries and trust your gut. Know who you are and what you stand for and be loud about it. Closed mouths don’t get fed so always speak up for what you want. Stay true to yourself and learn how to market yourself well – don’t get lost in the sauce of internet fame and clout. Allow yourself the space and grace to mess up, learn, grow and change throughout your career because you will experience so many different versions of yourself and others and will constantly have to adjust and adapt.

7. We commend you on self-booking! We think that is awesome. In your opinion, what are the benefits and disadvantages of booking your own shoots and what advice can you give to models who are interested in going this route?

AVERY JANE:  The benefits of self-booking are that you get to keep 100% of your paycheck without having to pay a percentage to an agent and you don’t have to deal with any potential predatory behavior from agents. The cons are, that if you are not already well established and well connected with industry contacts, you will have a very difficult time getting work. Most studios default to looking through agency websites when selecting talent, so self-booking talent is often forgotten about, looked over, and won’t get called up for last-minute work. You have to work twice as hard to get bookings and stay relevant. Sadly, there is no official industry database for self-booking talent to use as of yet.

8. Avery Jane, aka “The Fuck Machine”, you are famous for your epic anal scenes! Please share with us your very first anal experience? Were you nervous or excited and did you have any idea then that you were going to become such a badass anal icon?

AVERY JANE:  My first anal experience was with a boyfriend when I was 21 years old, and back then I certainly had no idea what my future would amount to!

9. Did you have lesbian experiences prior to entering the adult entertainment business? Avery, please tell us about your first lesbian experience.

AVERY JANE:  I am pansexual and have had many queer sexual experiences throughout the years! It’s hard remembering the first when it’s been so many years!

AVERY JANE:  Years ago I dated a fire-eating instructor and asked him to teach me! I love a variety of arts and performance art so I knew I would love it. When the relationship ended, fire eating took a back seat so I could focus on other things, but this year I picked back up like I never left off and have been having so much fun getting more comfortable with different techniques. Fire-eating lessons have to be scheduled around my shoot schedule because there’s always the chance of burning your mouth (can’t work with open sores in the mouth) or singeing some eyelashes or an eyebrow off! Yes, I’m really eating the fire: No, there are no fraudulent tricks up my sleeve ;D To pull it off you just have to be a badass!

13. Putting aside your porn star career and fire goddess capabilities, what is the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

AVERY JANE:  This year, the craziest thing I’ve done was fly to Portugal to go to a music festival with a cute Czech boy I met during a gangbang in Prague at the beginning of the year! I don’t even go to music festivals in America, so that was a huge, crazy adventure for me!

14. We want to hear more about the things that make up who you are outside of adult work! Do you have any other hobbies or things you love to do?

AVERY JANE:  I love to dance – in front of the mirror, on a pole, in front of audiences, anytime anywhere – just dance. I’ve recently started enjoying roller skating again, as well as karaoke, bowling, and fire eating!

15. What about food and culinary preferences? What’s your favorite food[s]? Do you like to cook or prefer eating out/dining in?

AVERY JANE:  My first love will always be Cajun/Southern food – gumbo, boudin, crawfish, seafood, BBQ, etc Anything I associate with the south US. I also love Italian food, Thai food, and French food – though I will try any food at least once! I love trying different restaurants in different cities/countries!

16. You’re smoking hot and in great shape, what’s your fitness routine?

AVERY JANE:  Thanks! I hired an amazing personal trainer who keeps me motivated and helps me with my confidence in the gym! On top of that, I still pole dance when I can, and moderate how much food I intake.

17. What is your wildest dream?

AVERY JANE:  My wildest dream is to smoke a blunt with Snoop Dogg!

18. Do you have any upcoming appearances, events, business plans or career aspirations, or upcoming porn scenes that you can share with us?

AVERY JANE:  As far as appearances and events, I’m taking 2024 off to further nurture my mental health and solidify my business plans. I’m aiming to focus less on adult work and more on creating a social media presence so I can expand my brand and opportunities. Eventually, I would like to start my own official production. 2024 is for planting and nurturing these seeds.

Johnny Goodluck Interview For Porn Corporation

1. How long have you been performing in the adult industry and how did you begin your career?

JOHNNY GOODLUCK: My first shoot was for Hustler with my now wife, Draven Star, 4 years ago. Basically, I was just a behind the scenes guy who was in the right place at the right time. We filmed the scene on Draven’s birthday too which made it all the more fun.

2. What are your best tips and advice for men wanting to get into the adult industry?

JOHNNY GOODLUCK: Make your own content. Study. Educate yourself, especially on safety and preparedness. Get tested regularly! That’s exactly what I did and do. To be a proficient performer, you must be self-sufficient. The most important thing is to be a good person, have good energy, be positive, and be kind. It’s a competitive job, and it’s important to be someone that people want to work with, than to be someone who has a huge dick. That’s how you’ll be rehired over and over.

3. Men often think you have the best job in the world, but we know it’s not always as simple and easy as people assume and it is hard work. Please elaborate to our readers the reality of your job.

JOHNNY GOODLUCK: For one, it’s not that easy to jerk off next to 25 other guys you know, and ejaculate when instructed too. Porn is very directed. While the people I work with are gorgeous and amazing, I seldom think about my desire to have sex with them at work. I’m more worried about lighting, angles, timing, and consistency.

4. We want to know more about the man behind the cock! So Johnny, where did you grow up. Please share with us a little bit about your heritage and upbringing.

JOHNNY GOODLUCK: I’m an east coast boy! Born and raised in Baltimore, MD. I grew up playing lacrosse, crabbing, and playing ghetto games.

5. Are the rumors true Johnny? Are you really Goodluck? Please tell us how you selected your cool stage name.

JOHNNY GOODLUCK: My name was a reaction from my wife Draven when I said “what about using the name Johnny?! It’s perfect. Like a John, trick, mark, etc…. paid to cum etc…”. Her response was “Goodluck!” Meaning “Goodluck with that!” Fun fact; The owner of Burning Angel chose my badge names my first two years at AVN. Before Johnny Goodluck existed, my first badge said “The Destroyer”.

6. Prior to being a pornstar and working your behind the scenes jobs in the adult industry what did you do career-wise?

JOHNNY GOODLUCK: I was a very well-known chef on the east coast, and am still quite reputable in the restaurant world. One of the few pornstars who maintains an average Joe’s job. I have put the kitchen on pause for the social experience of bartending.

7. Let’s talk sex! What is your favorite position or sexual act?

JOHNNY GOODLUCK: I absolutely love eating pussy. I have dedicatedly become notorious for my oral skills. In my personal life, I can go for hours, as long as my partner is enjoying herself. JOHNNY GOODLUCK: This is where I shine. I’ve kept track very well. I’ve had sex with about 250 women. About 120 of them were before porn. The world average is 7 sex partners in the life of a man. I hit that by the end of freshman year of high school.

15. Are you currently dating anyone or are you single?

JOHNNY GOODLUCK: I’m married to Draven mother fucking Star. This is a well known fact. We’ve been together since before Johnny Goodluck existed. One time I deep fried a BBQ brisket sandwich. They were both interesting and off-putting experiences that were of my best interest at the time. I once had sex in the back of a U-Haul with my girlfriend at the time. We were dropped it off in the rental parking lot and decided might as well make a mess for them in the back before we leave.
