Maria May Interview For Porn Corporation

1. How long have you been performing as a porn star, and how did you begin your career in the adult industry?

Maria May: First, thank you very much for having me. I began this journey about two and a half years ago with creating content, and then began filming pro scenes a little over a year ago. I took baby steps along the way in the beginning, so it’s kind of all over the place, where and when different things started happening for me.

2. We know you’re a Jersey girl! Were you born in New Jersey? Please share a little about your upbringing, background, and heritage.

Maria May: Yes! Very proud Jersey girl here! I was born and raised in North Jersey, not too far from New York City. My parents divorced when I was young, so I sort of moved back and forth between them. I’m Italian, and family means a lot to me, so I always stayed close to them. I lived in a few other states through the years, but moved back to NJ about 12 years ago, and am so happy I did.

3. How long have you been married? Tell us more about your #1 supporter and awesome husband, Jeff.

Maria May: We’re coming up on four years of being married and six years of being together. I can’t even begin to express how much he means to me. How many people are lucky enough to say that they’re married to their best friend? He does so much in the scenes, and sometimes even in front of the camera, too! He has been my biggest supporter from day one, and I couldn’t be happier or prouder of what we’ve built together, both as a married couple and as business partners.

4. Prior to joining porn, were you guys involved in the whole hotwife, swingers, taboo lifestyle, or was this the beginning for you?

Maria May: We were, but only in the voyeurism and exhibitionism type of way. We would go to clubs but never involve anyone else. Things definitely changed once we entered the industry, and we’ve explored a whole lot more in our private lives, too. It’s so hot that he and I have embraced it now.

5. As a married mom, how do you balance family life with your work in the adult industry?

Maria May: It’s definitely not easy! Thankfully, my kids are both teens, so that helps a lot. They don’t know all the details, but they do know what I do for a living. I told them about it a little over a year ago, because I don’t like to lie to them, and used it as a teachable moment for them to never lie to me either. Having them know definitely makes traveling for work so much easier.

6. Maria, you’re crazy fit, hot, and look way younger than you are! You are certainly serving “50 is the new 30” justice. How do you stay so fit, and what’s your secret to being youthful?

Maria May: I honestly don’t have a great answer for that. I partied a lot for many years and should probably look like I’m in my 70s by now. I stopped drinking and using anything else almost six years ago, and that’s helped my health a lot. I try to eat right, I exercise almost daily, and I live a fairly healthy lifestyle.

7. What advice do you have for other real-life MILFs who want to enter the adult industry?

Maria May: You can do it! I was told from day one to have plenty of patience and not to allow the down times to get to me too much. The biggest thing I had to learn was not to compare myself to other women. This is such a large industry with fans who have tastes and preferences that you can be yourself. And most importantly, be genuine. Don’t try to be someone that you’re not.

8. What surprised you most when joining the adult industry, and what has been the best part of your new career?

Maria May: The biggest surprise that I’ve had is that there is such a sense of family among everyone. My very first event was at Exxxotica NJ in 2024, and I met so many amazing people. The love and support that I’ve had from so many people in this industry is, honestly, overwhelming sometimes. To me, that’s also been the best part so far. Making lasting relationships with so many wonderful people.

9. You have a background as a certified peer recovery specialist in drug and alcohol rehab. How has that experience influenced the way you approach your career or interact with fans?

Maria May: I can’t say that it’s really influenced how I’ve approached anything in the industry. I’ve had some people reach out with questions about it, and I’m always happy to listen and provide support.

10. You also hold an associate degree in fashion. How does that incorporate into your branding, content creation, and style?

Maria May: I honestly can’t say that it has. I suppose I have utilized it at times, but maybe not consciously.

11. You’ve just signed with Nexxxt Level Talent Agency. Congrats on the move! What made you decide to switch from self-booking to an agency, and what were the deciding factors for you when choosing an agency?

Maria May: I’m so excited to be with them! Signing with an agency just felt like the natural next step for me at this time. Self-booking was getting a little too difficult for me, and I felt it was best to make that step. I had talked to numerous people, and Nexxxt Level just felt like the best fit for me, given all the amazing things I was told. After a few great conversations with Andre and Jonathan, the choice was clear. The impact was immediate, and I just returned home from shooting three scenes in Las Vegas. I’m so excited to see where this relationship goes!

12. Who’s on your porn bucket list to film with or collaborate with [companies or performers] that you haven’t had the pleasure of filming with yet?

Maria May: Oh my, there are still so many since I’m still pretty new overall. For companies, of course, you’d have to look at some of the biggest names out there: Brazzers, Bang Bros, and even a return to Vixen. As far as performers, there are just an unbelievable number of incredible people that I’d love to work with for different reasons. If I had to say two names only, Jason Luv and Tanya Tate would be at the top.

13. When you’re not on set filming adult videos and busy involved in the industry, and you’re not busy doing normal Mom stuff, what do you like to do for fun? Hobbies, interests? Dish, we want to know the real you beyond porn and motherhood!

Maria May: Between those two things, I don’t have a lot of downtime, and I’m totally okay with that. When I do find time to unwind, I love listening to live music, going to the beach, and watching true crime on TV. I also LOVE to travel and see new places.

14. From what I’ve seen, you love a variety of music, from hard rock to country. What’s on your playlist, and what tunes can you just not live without?

Maria May: My playlist is all over the place lol! It’s going to sound all over the place, but my top go-to artists to listen to are Marilyn Manson, Morgan Wallen, Grateful Dead, and the Dave Matthews Band. It all depends on my mood.

15. Other than becoming a porn star! What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

Maria May: A couple of years ago, my husband and I traveled to Alaska. We hired a guide who took us to the wilderness. When I say there was no one else around for miles and miles, it’s not an exaggeration. It was about 15 degrees and a foot of snow on the ground. We went hiking to an ice cave that was formed by an ancient glacier. If anything had happened to us or our guide, it could have been life-threatening, but that was the thrill of it all. That oneness with nature and knowing that there was wildlife, like a grizzly bear, out there just made me feel so alive!

16. Let’s kick it up a notch and get spicy! What are your biggest turn-ons, and what kills the mood for you?

Maria May: I don’t know if you’d call it spicy, but a strong, confident, but modest man is such a sexy thing. I love men who are good with their hands and aren’t afraid to get them dirty. A man who also recognizes that I’m a fiercely independent woman and doesn’t try to change me is very, very sexy! As far as turn-offs, probably the same as most women. Arrogance, selfishness, trying to control me. Just keep walking if you’re even remotely one of those.

17. We’ve seen you do a little solo anal training with a dildo but haven’t had the pleasure of seeing an official Maria May anal porn scene. How are your feelings on filming anal? Is that something you do in your private life, off-camera with your husband, and is anal something the fans can expect to see from you in the future?

Maria May: Amazing timing on this question! I literally just shot my first anal scene while out in Las Vegas! Not having filmed it so far was a choice. I do it all the time in my personal life with my husband, but I held off on giving it away on camera. I wanted to build the anticipation for my fans, and now they’re going to get to see it VERY soon!

18. What’s your wildest, deepest sexual fantasy?

Maria May: Oh my gosh, I have lived out so many things the last few years. My husband and I already had an absolutely amazing sex life before I created content, so we had done lots of things that were new for me. I’ve been gangbanged before, but only by four guys. I think I’d love to step that up a whole lot of notches and have one with like 20 guys. I love the idea of just being passed around and used for their pleasure.

19. Did you have lesbian experiences before filming porn? Tell us about your first lesbian experience!

Maria May: Yes, I had plenty! I definitely prefer being with men, but I absolutely love being with women also, and have for a long time before content was even a thing for me. I even dated another woman at one point when I was younger. I’m sure I had already been thinking about being with another woman, but when I was about 20 years old, it was one of those situations where a friend and I had a few drinks, one thing led to another, and I discovered that I really enjoyed being with women.

20. Do you have any upcoming scenes, appearances, events, business plans or career aspirations that you can share with us that fans should be looking out for?

Maria May: As of this interview, I have four pro scenes shot that have not been released yet, including my first anal scene with Inked Vixens and my first VR scene with Naughty America. I’ll be at the ASN Awards in August and EXXXOTICA back home in New Jersey in October. Those would be my next two definite appearances.

As for my career aspirations, my goal has always been to show that a woman can enter this industry at 49 and succeed. I still don’t know when I would consider myself a success in my own mind, but I feel like I have a way to get there. I’d love to win my first award and be at the point where companies reach out to me regularly to film for them.

21. Leave our readers with a true taste of you, Maria May! If you were ice cream, what flavor would you be?

Maria May: Well, definitely not vanilla lol!! Maybe Rocky Road, and how a few different things are mixed together to make one amazing combination!

22. Is there anything else you would like to share with your fans, our readers, or your colleagues in the adult industry?

Maria May: I’ve been an open book since day one in this industry, so I’m not sure that there’s anything that I haven’t shared yet. I had many different careers in my life, but none of them felt like “home” until I entered this one. I think a big misconception is that women just do this solely for the money, and I’m sure that’s true for some. But I truly and honestly love what I do. The fans have been amazing. The people in the industry have been amazing. And, of course, the sex is amazing! I appreciate and am thankful for everything so far. It just continues to motivate me to keep pushing harder and stronger to keep going forward.
